He said that constructed dialogs between the two countries were suspended because of the judiciary crises in Pakistan. He said that the process of bilateral dialogs was completely terminated after the Mumbai attacks. He said that current Pakistani government denies having any knowledge of the details of the dialogs on Kashmir issue during Musharaf government between the two countries. He said that he can not disclose any details of those dialogs between him and Khurshid Mahmood Qasoori on TV show. He said that it was decided between the two countries that the issue of disputed boarder line is irrelevant to establish good bilateral relationship. He said that Khurshid Mahmood Qasoori and him are very good friends for last fifty years and they used to study together at Cambridge University England 1961. He said he has many good friends in Pakistan and he resided in Karachi for three years. He said that there will be people on both sides who will hate either country but the process of dialogs should be continued. He said that Pakistani people are very good and that he likes Pakistan very much. He said that situation was different in 1947 and Pakistan should have dialogs with India keeping the current situation in mind. He said that there are people in Pakistan government, military and ISI who trust India for composite dialogs. Talking about Samjhota Express tragedy he said that Swami Aseem Anand is responsible for the incident and India government has captured him. He said that Swami Aseem Anand and other Hindu extremists and terrorists are also involved in bomb blasts at Muslim religious sites in India. He claimed that Indian government has never accused Pakistan or ISI for Samjhota Express tragedy. He said that Ajmal Qasab the only survival of Mumbai attacks terrorists group is Pakistani and went to India from Pakistan. He said that David Headley told Indian authorities that Ajmal Qasab was trained of terrorism by ISI in Pakistan. He said that we need two hands to clap and during Pervez Musharaf government two hands were very close to clap. He said that Pakistan and India were very close to have an agreement on Siachin when Mohtarma Benazir was Prime Minister But then one of her friend came to India to tell that there are some problems to go any further. He also acknowledged that once both countries had almost reached an agreement on disputed issues but Indian military was reluctant and told India government to back off. GENERAL HAMEED GUL EX-DGISI said that the core issue between the two countries is Kashmir. He said that Pundit Nehru himself said that he will not emerge Kashmir into India by force. He said that Indian attitude towards Pakistan was never good not even before Mumbai attacks. He said that India is the largest democracy in the world but is not giving democratic right of self determination to Kashmiri's. He said that India wants to talk on Mumbai attacks but not the core issue of Kashmir. He said that truth can not be denied just because it is too old. He said that India has put its forces on Chinese boarder in large numbers and trying to circumfuse China with the help of West especially America. He wondered that if India wants Pakistan to join its ill intentions against China. He said that after the Mumbai attacks Pakistan offered a joint investigation team to probe the incident but India turned it down. He said that there can be more incidents like Mumbai attacks if rights of the people are denied. He said that ISI never operates inside India because then Indian Muslims have to pay the price with their blood. He said that there are examples in the past when Muslims were brutally murdered in India and their hoses were put on fire along with the Muslims living inside. He said that so many of Muslim women were raped in India because of animosity against Muslims. General Hameed Gul said it is in the best interest of both India and Pakistan to reach some kind of agreement on disputed issues before America leave Afghanistan. He said that if no agreement is achieved it will cost dearly to both countries. He said that America is defeated and will evacuate Afghanistan earlier than its deadline. He said that movement for the Kashmir is at the crux of its momentum and at this moment and there is no room for any back door diplomacy with India any more. SALEEM SAIFULLAH OF PML (Q) said that it is very important for both countries to engage in dialogs to establish peace in the region. He said that Prime Ministers of both the countries should meet at least once a year. He said that peace can not be achieved with out resolving Kashmir problem. He said that Pakistan do not wants to resolve Kashmir problem according to its wishes but they Kashmiri wants to see their future. He said that both countries also need to talk on water dispute and Siachin. پرویز مشرف کے دور میں پاکستان اور بھارت مسئلہ کشمیر کے حل کے بہت قریب پہنچ چکے تھے-مانی شنکر آئر دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان یہ طے پا گیا تھا کہ اچھے تعلقات قائم کرنے کیلیے سرحدوں کی کوئی حیثیت نہیں-مانی شنکر سمجھوتہ ایکسپریس سانحہ کا زمہ دار سوامی آسیماند تھا سارے ثبوت مل گئے ہیں-مانی شنکر ہندو مزہب کے دہشت گرد بھارت میں مسلمانوں کے مقدس مقامات پر دہشت گردی میں ملوث ہیں-مانی شنکر پاکستان میں عدلیہ کا بحران پیدا ہونے سے مزاکرات کا عمل رک گیا-مانی شنکر ممبئی حملے کے بعد پاک بھارت تعلقات بالکل خراب ہو گئے-مانی شنکر ممبئی حملے سے پہلے بھارت کا رویہ کونسا درست تھا- حمید گل پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان جھگڑے کی اصل وجہ مسئلہ کشمیر ہے-حمید گل پنڈت نہرو نے خود کہا تھا کہ وہ کشمیر کو زبردستی بھارت کا حصہ نہیں بنایں گے-حمید گل بھارت دنیا کی سب سے بڑی جمہوریت ہے لیکن کشمیریوں کوخود مختاری کا جمہوری حق نہیں دے رہا-حمید گل بھارت ممبئی حملے پر تو بات کرنا چاہتا ہے لیکن کشمیر پر نہیں-حمید گل دونوں ملکوں کے وزاءاعظم کو ملاقات کرنی چاہیے تا کہ امن قائم ہو سکے-سلیم سیف اللہ کشمیر کا مسئلہ حل ہوئے بغیر دونوں ملکوں میں امن نہیں ہو سکتا-سلیم سیف اللہ پرویز مشرف کے دور میں کشمیر کے مسئلے پر جو پیش رفت ہوئی تھی موجودہ حکومت کہتی ہے کہ اسے اس کا علم نہیں ہے-مانی شنکر میرے اور محمود قصوری کے درمیان مسئلہ کشمیر پر جو پیش رفت ہوئی تھی اس کی تفصیل ٹیل وژن پر نہیں بتا سکتا-مانی شنکر محمود قصوری سے پچاس سال پرانی دوستی ہے ہم دونوں اکٹھے پرھتے رہے ہیں-مانی شنکر انیس سو سینتالیس میں اور بات تھی آج کے دور کے حساب سے بات کرنی چاہیے-مانی شنکر کیا سچائی پرانی ہو جائے تو سچائی نہیں رہتی-حمید گل بھارت کی فوج بڑی تعداد میں چین کے بارڈر پر موجود ہے اور مغرب کے ساتھ مل کر چین کو گھیرنا چاہتی ہے-حمید گل کیا بھارت یہ چاہتا ہے کہ پاکستان اور بھارت مل کر چین کے مد مقابل آ جایں-حمید گل دونوں ملکوں میں ایک دوسرے کو ناپسند کرنے والے موجود رہیں گے لیکن آگے بڑھنا چاہیے-مانی شنکر پاکستان اور بھارت میں سال میں کم از کم ایک ملاقات تو ہونی چاہیے-سلیم سیف اللہ ہم اپنی خواہشات نہیں بلکہ کشمیریوں کی سوچ کے مطابق مسئلہ کشمیر کا حل چاہتے ہیں-سلیم سیف اللہ پانی کامسئلہ اور سیاچین ایسے مسائل ہیں کہ جن پر بات چیت ہونی چاہیے-سلیم سیف اللہ میرے باقی دنیا کی طرح پاکستان میں بھی بہت دوست ہیں اور میں تین سال تک کراچی میں رہتا رہا ہوں-مانی شنکر میں پاکستان کو بہت پسند کرتا ہوں پاکستانی بہت نیک لوگ ہیں-مانی شنکر پاکستان کی حکومت،فوج اور آئی ایس آئی کے بہت سے لوگ ہم پر اعتماد کرتے ہیں-مانی شنکر اجمل قصاب پاکستانی ہے اور وہ پاکستان سے بھارت گیا تھا-مانی شنکر ڈیوڈ ہیڈلے نے بتایا ہے کہ اجمل قصاب کو پاکستان میں آئی ایس آئی نے دہشت گردی کی تربیت دی تھی-مانی شنکر ممبئی حملے کے بعد پاکستان نے کہا تھا کہ دونوں ملک مل کر اس کی تحقیقات کرتے ہیں لیکن بھارت نہیں مانا تھا-حمید گل جب لوگوں کو ان کے حقوق نہیں دئیے جایں گے تو ممبئی حملے جیسے واقعات ہوتے رہیں گے-حمید گل آئی ایس آئی کی پالیسی ہے کہ بھارت کے اندر کوئی کاروائی نہیں کرنی تا کہ وہاں کے انتہا پسند ہندو مسلمانوں سے اس کا انتقام نہ لیں-حمید گل بھارت کے انتہا پسند ہندو مسلمانوں کو ان کے گھروں سمیت زندہ جلا دیتے ہیں اور مسلمان عورتوں کی عزتیں لوٹتے ہیں-حمید گل تالی بجانے کے لیے دونوں ہاتھوں کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے اور مشرف دور میں تالی بجانے والے ہاتھ بہت قریب آ گئے تھے-مانی شنکر بے نظیر دور میں سیاچین مسئلے پر کافی پیش رفت ہوئی لیکن بعد میں ان کے زاتی دوست نے بھارت آ کر کہا کہ کچھ مشکلات پیدا ہو گئی ہیں-مانی شنکر ایک دفعہ ہم مسائل حل کرنے کے بہت قریب پہنچ گئے تھے لیکن بھارتی فوج نہیں مانی-مانی شنکر امریکہ کی افغانستان میں موجودگی کے دوران دونوں ملکوں نے اپنے مسائل حل نہ کیے تو بہت نقصان ہو جائے گا-حمید گل امریکہ کو افغانستان میں شکست ہو چکی ہے اور وہ جلد وہاں سے بھاگ جائے گا-حمید گل آج تحریک آزادی کشمیر اتنی آگے بڑھ چکی ہے کہ بھارت کے ساتھ بیک ڈور ڈپلو میسی اب ممکن نہیں رہی-حمید گل پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان گیس پائپ لائین کا منصوبہ دونوں ملکوں کو بہت قریب لا سکتا ہے-مانی شنکر |
In 2007, family members in Pakistan mourned a victim of the attack on the Samjhauta Express. The bombing killed 68 people.
Railway police stood guard over a charred train car after the Samjhuata bombing. Many bodies were burned beyond recognition.
