While people throughout the world are suffering from hunger whether it be from poverty or because of natural or man-made disasters, Al-Razzaq (The Sustainer) has blessed many of us with so much more than we need.
Under its Social Welfare Program, Hidaya Foundation (www.hidaya.org) provides meals to the poor in economically distressed areas of South Asia and Africa under our One Million Meals Project. Due to buying in bulk, one meal costs only 50 cents. $50 can provide 100 meals, $250 can provide 500 meals, and $500 can provide 1,000 meals.
In 2011, Hidaya has distributed approximately 1,335,414 meals.
