Maulana Fazlur Rehman says that the decision to leave the coalition was well thought it and final and to repeated questions he insisted that this decision was not reversible.
Azam sawati said that he has presented all the evidence of corruption against Hamid saeed Kazmi in the court of justice. He said that FIA does not have the courage to go after corrupts. On the question that why he is sacked by the PM he said ask the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani because the reason is not known to him. He said that he has protected the honor of the country and Islam by bringing Hamid Saeed Kazmi to justice on corruption charges.
Hamid Saeed Kazmi said that he is not sacked on corruption charges but because of having quarrel with Azam Sawati. He said that he was questioned by FIA two days ago and he gave them all the details about corruption charges. He said since he was not a minister any more, he was free to expose his accuser. On the question that why he did not expose him before the Hajj Scam, Kazmi said that because JUI (F) was coalition partner and he was not supposed to say any thing against coalition partners. Kazmi claimed that he was innocent and the corruption case against him was in the court where his innocence will be proved.
Haider Abbas Rizvi of MQM said that his party will consider all the options in their party meeting tomorrow. He said that at the time of taking any decision about future his party will go according to the current changing political scenario of the country.
Journalist and political analyst Ansar Abbasi said that there was billions of rupees corruption reported in official Hajj report last year presented to Prime Minister but he did not take any action. He also revealed that there is a scandal of selling rupees ten billion timbers for only rupees one billion and Azam Sawati name was among the accused. He said Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Rao Shakeel Ahmed and secretary of Hajj affairs all three were appointed by Yousaf Raza Gillani because of Multan connection the home town of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani.
Ansar claimed that Senator Enver Beg had told him that all private Hajis' were fleeced due to corruption aand they were over-charged by twenty to thirty thousand rupees each.
He called the quitting of JUI (F) as coalition partner a big shock for PPPP government. He criticized Kazmi for his failure in exposing, if any, corruption of Mr. Swati, prior this incident.
Fakhar ur Rehman of AAJ news said that the performance of political parties for last three years was a complete failure and disappointment.
Allama Ibtesaam Elahi Zaheer of (JAH) said that it does not matter who was involved in corruption, both Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and Hamid Saeed Kazmi are responsible because they failed to stop it.
He lamented that the menace of corruption was so deep rooted that even pilgrims were not spared. He said that Hamid saeed Kazmi failed to run his ministry. He said that corruption in Hajj affairs had tarnished the image of the country.
Political analyst Haroon Rasheed said MQM's decision to stay in th egovernment or quit would also depend on what was the thinking of the establishment on the subject.
